Introduction
Our MOJ services are for landlords to use as a way to help recently released ex-offenders to gain stable accommodation for up to 8 weeks prior to finding a permanent alternative. This service works alongside as part of a partnership with the police - probation - accommodation. I myself have been a part of this service, and can help get anyone started.
Accommodation Rate
The rate is £30pppn (all in) and as it says, I'm looking for one bed accommodation for 1 client, or larger accommodation for 2 clients. That's a max, as each needs their own room, no twins or sofa beds. There is an HMO option for upto 4 max, but the rooms would need to be ensuite with kitchenette (so effectively mini studios with no communal lounges or kitchens).
Requirements needed
Info I request for submission is full address/postcode, number of rooms, available now or from date, email and contact address for the booking team.
Rental Process
Hosts send me their invoices when the check in is agreed, and I pay most the same day and before arrival. Bookings in urgent areas could be the same day. The procedure is that the address is checked against the police computer and with probation, clients are identified and risk accessed for the property (and each other when sharing). Clients obviously have a past, but that is not shared unless it is necessary for you to keep staff or neighbours safe (but that should be rare). BUT please add a note if there is anything the risk assessors should know (lone female cleaner, old/vulnerable/disabled neighbours, drug use by neighbours etc) just add it in.
Contract Duration
Bookings are in blocks of 14 days (£420) with extensions of 14 days, up to a maximum of 56 days. I seek to repeat with new clients when there is demand in the area. The price is an all in price, it includes cleaning, utilities, TV & License and business tax.
Contact Person
The contract is with me and the accommodation agency, and I pay all the invoices as soon as a booking is confirmed.
